We recently made a set of detailed components for a client in the food processing industry, focusing on durability, wear resistance, and food safety. Our engineers used CNC milling and turning to create these parts from materials like oil-filled nylon, Nylatron GSM, food-grade green black polyethylene, and virgin PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene.
These materials were chosen because they resist wear and abrasion, making them ideal for high-friction, high-stress environments. This helps the components last longer, reducing maintenance and downtime.
For parts that need to meet food safety standards, we used food-grade green polyethylene to ensure they comply with regulations while still performing well. These components are built to handle the tough conditions of food processing while keeping products safe.
At WKH, we focus on using the right materials to create parts that perform well, need less maintenance, and meet the high standards of the food processing industry.
